Location is good, and school is good, but facilities are poorly managed, especially the pool.
I graduated in 1959 and my experience at "DHS" was such important part of my life. We had great teachers and wonderful activities. I'll never, ever, forget all the great times I had at THE GREATEST High School in Jersey City!!!
As a former student I have to say this school is the worst. I have friends that still go there and they're failing miserably, some of the teachers are great, but MOST of them refuse to help. My dyslexic friend, while admittedly does stupid things, gets in school suspension all the time. That's not a punishment. That's a reward to him. He gets to sit out of class all day and not learn. He LIKES it. Give them after school or Saturday detention. Theyre already failing, why the hell put them in a room for 8 hours and keep them from getting the help that they need.
